How to Use Scheduled Messages in The Chat Quotient

Ever wished you could send a WhatsApp message at a specific time say, a morning greeting, a payment reminder, or a follow-up with a client — without having to remember it yourself? With The Chat Quotient’s Scheduled Messages feature, you can plan and automate your messages directly from WhatsApp Web — just like how Reminders help you stay on top of your tasks and follow-ups.

Together, they make managing chats effortless and perfectly timed

1. Select the chat

Open the WhatsApp chat where you want to schedule your message.

2. Open the Schedule option

Click on “Schedule” from the CQ Bar (the right sidebar in your WhatsApp Web).

3. Enter your message and time

Type the message you want to send and choose the date and time you’d like it to go out automatically.

4. Enable repeat messages (optional)

Want to send the same message regularly? Simply check the “Repeat” box and set how often you’d like it to repeat — daily, weekly, or as per your needs.

5. Keep WhatsApp Web running

For now, make sure your WhatsApp Web and system stay active at the scheduled time so the message is sent correctly. (Good news — we’re working on an offline sending feature, coming soon!)

Use Scheduled Messages to follow up with customers, send regular updates, or maintain consistent engagement, even when you’re away from your desk.
