Getting Started
How to install, register, and understand the core interface of The Chat Quotient.
Welcome to The Chat Quotient (CQ)! This guide will walk you through the first few minutes of using the extension and help you understand how it integrates deeply with your WhatsApp workflow.
1. Installation & Setup
The Chat Quotient is a Chrome extension that lives directly in your browser.
- Download: Visit the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. (Alternatively, you can always click the “Add to Chrome” button in the top right corner of this website).
- Activate: Open web.whatsapp.com and log in to your WhatsApp account.
- Register: You will see a prompt to login or create a CQ account. If you’re new, click Create Account to sync your data across devices.
2. Meet the CQ Sidebar
Once active, a slim sidebar will appear on the far right of your WhatsApp Web interface. We designed this to be non-intrusive—it doesn’t cover your chats or slow down your workflow.
Icons & Navigation
The sidebar is your gateway to all CQ features:
- Lead Icon: Create and manage CRM Leads.
- Scheduler (Clock): Schedule Messages for later.
- Quick Replies (Template): Access your Saved Message Templates.
- Settings (Gear): Customize your Pipelines and profile.
3. The Empty Space Dashboard
WhatsApp Web has a lot of “dead space” on the right when no chat is selected. The Chat Quotient transforms this empty space into a powerful CRM Dashboard.
- Instead of a blank grey screen, you see your Sales Pipeline, Forecast Values, and Upcoming Tasks.
- This integration ensures that you have a 360-degree view of your business metrics without ever leaving the WhatsApp environment.
4. Deep Integration
CQ isn’t just an overlay; it’s deeply integrated with your conversations.
- AI Suggestions: Appear directly in your WhatsApp message box.
- Contextual Leads: Clicking a lead in the dashboard instantly jumps you to the correct chat thread.
- One-Click Capture: Our AI “reads” your current chat to help you fill out lead details instantly.
