How to Track Conversations

Use pipelines, notes, and task reminders to stay on top of your WhatsApp sales and support.

Conversations are the heart of your business, but without tracking, they can quickly become lost. The Chat Quotient provides a structured way to track every interaction.

Using Sales Pipelines

A pipeline is a visual way to track where your customers are in their buying journey.

  1. Stages: Define stages like “New Lead,” “Negotiation,” and “Deal Closed.”
  2. Move Contacts: Drag and drop contacts as they progress through the funnel.
  3. Visualization: Use the Kanban board in your dashboard to see your entire pipeline at a glance.

Managing Tasks & Reminders

Don’t rely on your memory. Set a task for every contact that needs follow-up.

  1. Open the Tasks tab in the CQ sidebar.
  2. Add a task name and set a due date/time.
  3. Assign the task to yourself or a team member.
  4. Get notified when the task is due.

Internal Notes for Context

Shared context is key for sales and support teams.

  • Customer Preferences: “Prefers phone calls over chat.”
  • Interaction History: “Sent the pricing brochure on Monday.”
  • Important Details: “Customer’s birthday is June 15.” These notes are internal and only visible to your team.

Chat Summaries

Need to catch up on a long conversation?

  1. Click the Summarize button in the CQ sidebar.
  2. Our AI will generate a bulleted list of the most important points from the chat history.
  3. Save the summary as a note for future reference.
