Managing Multiple Pipelines
How to customize and manage separate pipelines for Sales, Recruitment, or Support.
Every business has unique workflows. The Chat Quotient allows you to create multiple, completely custom pipelines to match your specific team processes.
Why Multiple Pipelines?
Managing all your different tasks in one list can be confusing. By creating separate pipelines, you can keep your data clean and focused.
- Sales Pipeline: Track potential customers from inquiry to closing.
- Recruitment Pipeline: Track candidates from initial application to offer signed.
- Support Pipeline: Track customer issues from ticket created to resolution.
Customizing Your Pipeline
You can modify any pipeline—including the default one—to suit your needs.
- Open the CQ Sidebar.
- Click the Settings (gear icon) at the bottom.
- Navigate to Pipeline Settings.
- From here, you can:
- Edit Pipeline Name: Rename existing pipelines.
- Add/Remove Stages: Create the exact steps of your workflow.
- Define Probability: Set a “win probability” (0-100%) for each stage. This number is used to calculate the Forecast Value on your dashboard.
- Assign Colors: Give each stage a distinct color for better visual tracking.
Creating a New Pipeline
- In Pipeline Settings, click the Create New Pipeline button.
- Give your pipeline a descriptive name (e.g., “HR - Hiring 2026”).
- Add your stages (e.g., Applied, Initial Screen, Technical Interview, Offer Sent).
- Set probabilities for each (e.g., 5% for Applied, 90% for Offer Sent).
- Click Save.
Switching Between Pipelines
On both the CRM Dashboard and the Lead Detail Panel, you can easily switch between your different pipelines using the dropdown menus. Each pipeline will maintain its own unique set of stages, data, and reporting.
