How to Manage Contacts
Learn how to organize and segment your WhatsApp contacts for better customer relationship management.
Managing a high volume of contacts on WhatsApp can quickly become overwhelming. The Chat Quotient provides a suite of tools to help you organize your contacts right within the WhatsApp Web interface. …
Contact Tabs
The simplest way to organize your inbox is by using Tabs.
- Custom Groups: Create tabs for “New Deals,” “VIP Clients,” or “Follow-ups.”
- Automatic Filtering: View only unread messages or chats from non-saved numbers with a single click.
Deal Profiles
Every contact can be transformed into a detailed deal profile.
- Open a chat with a contact.
- In the CQ sidebar, click the Deal tab.
- Add internal details:
- Full Name & Company
- Email Address
- Deal Stage (e.g., Prospect, Qualified)
Organizing with WhatsApp Labels
WhatsApp has built its own tagging feature called Labels, and it works really well for segmenting your chats. We recommend using it to group contacts into categories like Priority, Interested, or Bulk Order.
- How to use Labels: Open a chat’s menu in WhatsApp, assign one of your Labels, and then filter your inbox by that Label to focus on a specific segment.
Searching Contacts
Use the CQ search bar to find contacts not just by name, but by Note content or Pipeline stage.
