How to Upgrade Your Plan
Step-by-step guide to upgrading your The Chat Quotient plan from within the extension.
You can upgrade your plan directly from within the extension in a few steps. Upgrading takes effect immediately — your new limits and features are available as soon as the payment is confirmed.
During Onboarding
When you first install The Chat Quotient and create an account, you will be prompted to select a plan. A free trial is available at this step, so you can explore paid features before committing. If you activate a trial during onboarding, your plan will be automatically set up once the trial ends.
If you skipped plan selection during onboarding or want to change your plan later, follow the steps below.
Upgrading From the Extension
- Open WhatsApp Web with the extension active.
- In the CQ sidebar, click the Settings icon (gear icon).
- Select Billing.
- Click the Upgrade button.
- Choose the plan you want — Standard or Pro.
- Select your billing cycle: monthly or yearly. Yearly billing saves you more over the year.
- Complete payment in the checkout flow.
Your plan activates immediately after the payment is confirmed.
Monthly vs. Yearly Billing
Both billing cycles give you access to the same plan features. The difference is cost — choosing yearly billing saves you more compared to paying month by month.

What Happens After Upgrading
- Your new usage limits apply immediately.
- Previously greyed-out features (if you were on a lower plan) become available right away.
- Your billing cycle starts from the day you upgrade.
