Sending Campaigns Safely
How daily caps, delays, business hours, and automatic pause protection keep your WhatsApp number safe from bans.
Campaigns send through your own WhatsApp Web session, so pacing matters — sending too fast is what gets numbers flagged or restricted. These settings, and the automatic protections behind them, exist to reduce that risk.
Where to Configure
Daily cap, delay range, business hours, and default STOP keywords are configured account-wide in the extension’s main Settings, not inside the Campaigns tab itself. They apply as defaults to new campaigns, and you can jump to them directly from a campaign’s review screen.
Daily Send Cap
An optional ceiling on how many messages go out per day. Leave it blank to use your plan’s default cap. You can only make this cap stricter than your plan allows, never looser.
Delay Between Sends
A minimum and maximum range, in seconds (default is roughly 20–40 seconds apart). A random delay within that range is applied before every send.
The lower the delay the more the risk of getting whatsapp number blocked.
Business Hours
Messages only send within a configured start/end time window, in your own device’s timezone — detected automatically, not manually chosen.
Automatic Pause Protection
Beyond your own settings, a few automatic safeguards run in the background:
- Suspected number restriction. If WhatsApp appears to be throttling your number — 5 consecutive failed sends with no successes in between — the campaign automatically pauses itself, and you’re notified by both WhatsApp message and email. Resume once the number has recovered. A “number not on WhatsApp” failure doesn’t count toward this trigger, since that’s a bad contact, not a sign of restriction.
- Extension offline. Sending only happens while the extension is open and polling. If it goes offline, dispatching automatically pauses — no messages are lost or misfired — and resumes the moment the extension reconnects. If it’s been offline more than 5 minutes, you’ll get a one-time notification listing your currently-sending campaigns and their stats.
Follow WhatsApp’s spam policy to prevent bans. We are not liable for blocked numbers. Contact us if blocked to remap your account to a new number.
