The Chat Summary feature uses AI to condense a WhatsApp conversation into a concise overview. It’s useful for catching up on a long thread before responding, reviewing a customer conversation before a follow-up, or getting a quick read on where a discussion stands.

How to Generate a Summary

1. Open the WhatsApp chat you want to summarize on WhatsApp Web.
2. In the CQ sidebar (on the right), locate the Summarize button — it appears when a chat is open.
3. Click Summarize.
4. The AI processes the conversation and displays a summary in the sidebar.

Checking Your Remaining Usage

Chat Summaries are subject to a monthly usage limit based on your plan. Each summary you generate counts as one use.

To check how many summaries you have left:

1. Click Settings (gear icon) in the CQ sidebar.
2. Select Billing.

Your current usage and remaining quota are shown there. When your monthly limit is reached, the Summarize button will be greyed out until your quota resets at the start of your next billing month.
