Managing AI Inbound Agents in Individual Chats

Take over chats and manage AI agent toggles for specific conversations.

While AI Inbound Agents handle conversations automatically based on their configuration, there are times when a human agent needs to step in and take over a conversation.

Taking Over a Chat

You can seamlessly take over any conversation that an AI Inbound Agent is handling.

  1. Open the specific chat in WhatsApp Web.
  2. Locate the AI Inbound Agent toggle next to the “AI Reply” button, located in the message input field area.
  3. Turn off the sales agent toggle.

Once turned off, the AI Inbound Agent will immediately stop responding to this contact, allowing you to take full control of the conversation.

Disabling Chats for All Agents

When you turn off an agent toggle for a specific chat using the method above, that chat becomes disabled for all AI Inbound Agents.

Even if you have multiple agents active and the contact falls into their target audience, no agent will interact with that contact until you manually turn the agent toggle back on for that specific chat. This ensures that you have complete control over sensitive conversations without the AI accidentally intervening.
