Tracking Campaign Status
Understand recipient delivery states, monitor a campaign in real time, and pause, resume, cancel, or retry sends.
Every campaign is tracked from the moment you confirm it until every recipient has been attempted.
Campaign List
The campaign list shows, per campaign: status, total recipients, sent/failed/suppressed/opted-out counts, and created date — enough to scan all your campaigns at a glance.
Campaign Detail: Live Status
Open a campaign to see a real-time breakdown, which auto-refreshes every 5 seconds while it’s sending. Recipients move through these states:
- Queued — waiting to send
- Sent — handed off to WhatsApp
- Failed — couldn’t be sent (e.g., the number isn’t on WhatsApp)
- Suppressed — skipped because the contact was already opted out before this campaign
- Opted out — the contact replied with a STOP keyword during this campaign
[!NOTE] Campaigns send through your own WhatsApp Web session rather than a business messaging API, so delivered/read receipts aren’t available — status tracking stops at Queued, Sent, Failed, Suppressed, and Opted out. Replies are still detected behind the scenes (for STOP-keyword matching and AI handoff), just not surfaced as their own status card.
A paginated, filterable table backs up these summary cards, so you can drill into exactly who got what status.
Pause, Resume, Cancel, and Retry
From the list or detail view:
- Pause a sending campaign, and Resume it later.
- Cancel a draft or paused campaign — this is irreversible and asks for confirmation.
- Retry Failed recipients — available while a campaign is sending, paused, or completed.
- Edit — available only for draft or paused campaigns.
A campaign moves to Completed automatically once every recipient has been attempted, and you’ll get a notification with the final stats.
[!TIP] A campaign can also pause itself automatically for safety reasons — see Sending Campaigns Safely for why, and what to do about it.
